Nissan today released the first details and images of new slightly facelifted 2011 Nissan Murano. So what’s new for the 2011 model year?
You’ll have to look a little close to notice the major changes but the 2011 Murano gets a refreshed grille, which now looks cleaner with two vertical bars instead of three from the previous model. The other major changes include new taillights, new 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels and a refreshed front bumper. Also new for 2011 is the Graphite Blue exterior color. The 2011 Murano also gets some interior upgrades for 2011 including a new white meter color, new center stack colors and added equipment to various trim levels.

“With its contemporary exterior design, “˜mobile suite” interior, advanced technology and refined, premium driving feel, Murano stands out as a modern crossover SUV like no other,” said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America, Inc. “With the enhancements for 2011, there are even more reasons for consumers to put Murano on the top of their shopping lists.”
Sales of the 2011 Nissan Murano will start in mid-October with two new trim levels joining the lineup including SV FWD and SV AWD, for a total of eight models. While that may make life more confusing for the shopper, the lineup does offer the widest range of equipment and feature combinations to fit a new buyers budget.
